Magnetic Island 5/5

We took a short ferry ride to Magnetic Island just off the coast of Townsville.



The island is lush green and half national park.



Here's David at Horseshoe Bay with the Red Baron plane in the background.



We travelled around the Island via bus and took a rest at Alma Bay, in the resort of Arcadia. A wedding was just being set up here as we left.



Could you imagine this in the UK ? This is a Saturday afternoon, on a bank holiday weekend. The beach is empty. We took advantage of this and had the beach to ourselves.
