Lakes and Craters 8/1

We left Geelong in the rain and moved on to Camperdown in the heart of the Lakes and Craters region. This is the third largest Volcanic plain in the world. The volcanoes are not extinct and an eruption is 5000 years overdue, hopefully we won't get one in the next few days.

Our campsite is at the top of a hill and the views are spectacular.

However there are plenty of flies around. Look at the number of flies on this poor cows face. We felt like that ourselves.

This is Mount Sugarloaf.
