Tree Top Walk 9/3
We visited the Tree Top Walk in the Valley of the Giants near Walpole. It was yet another cool and rainy day in the land of Oz and we walked on the very bouncy suspended bridge up to a height of 40 metres above the trees.

The walk is a 600 metre loop through the tree tops, with open views of the forest below.

After the tree top walk there is a forest walk with strange tree formations. The Karri trees naturally hollow themselves out over the years and some unusual features can appear.

Can you see the face in the tree below ? It looks like it should be in the Wizard of Oz or Lord of the Rings.

This is the beautiful natural colourings of the inside of a fallen Karri tree.
