Litchfield National Park 14/4
We ventured 130km south of Darwin to Litchfield National Park. Our first stop was to see the Termite Mounds. Here is David by the Cathedral Mound, and you thought his Pinnacle was big !

And here we are by another large termite mound.

As the wet season had just finished we were able to witness the parks' waterfalls in full flow. Here is Jayne at Florence Falls looking hot and bothered after just seeing a sign warning of snakes in the area.

We saw plenty of cobwebs and at the centre of each was a large spider.

The park's most popular attraction is the Wangi Falls (pronounced 'Wong Guy'). These falls had signs at their base warning people against swimming due to the presence of Crocodiles.

We walked over a boardwalk to reach the base of the falls. Either side of us were the croc infested waters and large spiders. Jayne is just loving the Northern Territory !
