Territory Wildlife Park 15/4
After our crocodile cruise we went to the Territory Wildlife Park. This park is situated on 400 hectares of bushland and features wildlife in open-air environments. The aquarium was excellent featuring large tanks and a walk through section. Jayne thought that the underneath of the sawfish was quite amusing and looked like Cassandra a Doctor Who character.

This is what the sawfish actually looks like from the side.

There was a large crocodile in one of the exhibits. He was glad to move around rather than just sleep and came charging towards us as his keeper dropped in some food to distract him whilst doing some water maintainance.

One of the many fish displays.

The rainy season had left some large lagoons and some colourful scenery.

We took a stroll around some of the boardwalks, this one led to Goose Lagoon.

The park was home to some other wildlife we had not yet seen in the wild. This is the Feral Pig.

And this was the Black Wallaby. He had wild eyes which made him look quite scary, not the usual friendly wallaby face.

There was also a dingo who was happy to sleep, stretch and yawn and then sleep again in the heat of the day. We thought that the Dingo had a face a bit like our collie Nelson and lazed around in the same way too.

And finally David bags the catch of the day.
